Cross-border Connections in Northern Europe

Cross-border Connections in Northern Europe

A Scandria Alliance Transport Conference hosted by Eastern Norway County Network (Østlandssamarbeidet).

Color-shaded map of Europe showing the Northern Scandria Corridor as part of the EU Scan-Med transport network. The map highlights a series of green circular markers forming a north–south route starting in Northern Norway and Finland, continuing through Sweden and Denmark, and extending south through Germany to Italy. The background gradient shifts from blue on the western side to green on the eastern side, symbolizing connectivity and sustainability. Major cities along the corridor, such as Oslo, Stockholm, Helsinki, Berlin, and Munich, are visible, illustrating the cross-border links between Scandinavia and Central Europe.

Europe’s transport network is evolving – and the Nordics are at the center. This map illustrates the strategic connections linking the Nordic countries with the rest of Europe, a key topic at the Oslo conference in May.

Europe’s transport network is evolving, and the Nordic region is right at the center of the transformation. The strategic connections linking Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Finland with Germany and the rest of Central Europe will shape the future of mobility, trade, and sustainability in Northern Europe.

This Oslo conference brings together politicians, policymakers, industry leaders, and experts to discuss the next steps for cross-border transport and infrastructure. Expect insights on green mobility, resilient supply chains, cross-border collaboration, and infrastructure in a shifting geopolitical landscape. This is where the key decisions begin.
